Google Street View Photographers Creating New PA Beer Trail Map for BOP Members Only!
The Brewers of Pennsylvania, working to advance and promote the the craft brewing industry throughout the state of Pennsylvania, has recently teamed up with the Google Street View photographers that bring the popular Street View virtual tour technology inside businesses. Similar to the Street View car and the Trekker, this team has a high-resolution 360 degree camera mounted on a tripod which enables them to bring it inside of businesses. The purpose of this partnership between Brewers of PA and Google Street View is to boost the craft beer industry by providing people with an interactive and engaging Pennsylvania Beer Trail map and provide them with a glimpse inside of the breweries and brew pubs. This will not only inspire their interest and enthusiasm in the craft but also motivate and guiding people to visit the breweries and tasting rooms across the state. This is is now part of the Brewers of PA website at https://www.brewersofpa.org/ (click PA Beer Trail on page).
Some breweries across the state have already had Google Street View inside their establishments and have enjoyed the outstanding Google exposure benefits it has brought them. Now these “early birds” are standing out on the new Google PA Beer Trail with enhanced map markers and info cards that contain a link to their Google Street View Indoors tour and other interactive content to engage people on the Beer Trail.
The Street View team will be making their way across the state during September to work with the breweries.
