Wissahickon Brewing Company

The Wissahickon Brewing Company gets inspiration from the natural environment of the Wissahickon Valley in Philadelphia. Known for centuries as a spiritual and beautiful place, home of the great Lenape Nation. Ale focused recipes with a bit of a wild side.

What started as a hobby in 2009 among a father and three sons quickly turned into a passion and a dream.  While the size  and complexity of our brews have certainly grown over the last 7 years, our goal has remained constant: Delivering the freshest, most delicious craft beer in the the region. We are confident you will agree!

Head Brewer & Founder Tim Gill Sr. has years of experience and an impressive track record in the brewing industry. Accompanied by his sons (Tim, Luke, and Pete), they’ve made their mark on the regional and national stages with first-place awards for Devil’s Pool IPA, Kelpius Kave Belgian Strong, and Raisin’ Cane Ale.
