BETHLEHEM, PA—Guests at this year’s Oktoberfest presented by Yuengling, located at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, are invited to sample a diverse array of beers crafted by Pennsylvania’s award-winning breweries during tasting sessions at the festival’s new Brewers’ Village presented by the Brewers of Pennsylvania on Oct. 4-5 and 11-12. Tickets for the 90-minute tasting sessions are $25 ($20 for ArtsQuest Members) and go on sale today, Sept. 10, 10 a.m., at www.artsquest.org/oktoberfest and 610-332-3378.
At the Brewers’ Village, guests can sample more than 30 different beers including Oktoberfest brews and seasonal offerings by some of the state’s finest craft brewers. Tasting sessions, which are limited to 175 people each, will take place Saturdays at 1, 3:30 and 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 1, 3:30 and 6 p.m. Attendees will receive a commemorative sampling mug and have the opportunity to meet the breweries’ staff and brewers, as well as enjoy all the live music, delicious food, fun and games of Oktoberfest, which is celebrating its fourth year.

Oktoberfest presented by Yuengling, set for Oct. 3-5 and 10-12, will feature a variety of live music, delicious German food, fun & games and more. Among the highlights this year will be the popular dachshund races, Celebrity Skills Challenge and a free Penn State-Michigan football game tailgate and viewing party on the Levitt Pavilion Lawn on Oct. 11. This year’s Oktoberfest celebration will be free for the first time in the event’s history thanks to the support of its presenting sponsor, D.G. Yuengling & Son. Proceeds from the Brewers Village tasting sessions will go to support the free programming at Oktoberfest, as well as the nonprofit Brewers of Pennsylvania.
